Recent Purchace Part.1

I unusually bought a lot of CDs lately. Because there are a lot of great new band emerging! I wrote about this year's Summer Sonic line up will be dull before. When the first line up announced, I thought there are many unknown bands. But I often heard great songs on the radio in these days. Learn subsequently, most of them will perform at Summer Sonic. Then I thought I should do research beforehand of them.

Vampire Weekend

They are already famous among indie rock fans. The sounds include sunny African beats. I've never listened this kind of "afro-beat" but all songs make me comfort and cheerful.
I was just wondering where did the band name came from. Because Vampire Weekend sounds like metal band for me. So, I searched through internet. Then I found that Vampire Weekend is a film name which was made by the band's front man Ezra Koenig. The story is a a boy named Walcott charged by an elder to dispatch a vampiric horde in Cape Cod and escape. Now I found the meaning of a song is called "Walcott".

These New Puritans

They are a four-piece band from Southend-on-sea. It's striking that the band consist on of Jack Barnett and his twin brother George Barnett. At first, when I watched "Elvis" music video, I felt a little bit creepy. But after I listened a song called "Colors" I felt what a catchy song! Every song is sounds like mantra or something but danceable.

Blood Red Shoes

They are two-piece band consisting of Steven Ansell and Laura-Mary Carter. They are very good looking and look like idol. Anyway, I like female guitarist! She is so cool and cute.
